How does the pre-order work?
From 5 October 2026, you can pre-order this Sensa product. You place and pay for your order immediately, just like a regular order. As the product is not yet in stock, your order will be shipped at a later date.

By pre-ordering, you reserve your preferred Sensa item and colour from the first available stock. This reduces the risk of your preferred option being sold out at launch.

We expect to ship pre-orders from our warehouse in early November 2026. As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email with a track-and-trace link. Delivery will then take approximately 2 to 3 working days.

The stated shipping period is an estimate and may still change. If there is a delay, we will inform you by email.

Combining a pre-order with an in-stock product
Are you ordering a Sensa pre-order product together with items that are already in stock? Your complete order will be shipped together as soon as the pre-order product becomes available. In-stock items will therefore not be shipped separately or at an earlier date.

Would you like to receive an in-stock product sooner? Please place it in a separate order. Please note that the usual shipping costs apply to each individual order. Shipping is free on orders worth €70 or more per order.

Changing or cancelling a pre-order
Would you like to change or cancel your pre-order before it is shipped? Please contact us as soon as possible at support@beka-cookware.com. We will check what is still possible at that time.

Returns
Your return period only begins once you have received your order, not on the date you placed the pre-order. From the date of receipt, you have 14 days to return the product. The product must be unused and in its original packaging. You can request a return label through our returns portal.

Our warranty
We stand behind the quality of Beka. If a manufacturing or material defect occurs during normal household use, we will work with you to find an appropriate solution. How does Sensa differ from standard stainless steel cookware?

The Beka Sensa® collection is specially developed for cooking on an induction hob.

The Softbase® layer on the underside of the pot or pan provides a better grip and reduces movement and contact noise. The risk of scratching or damaging your induction hob is minimized. Our Sensa pot is fitted out with a soft-closing lid that directs steam to the extractor hood and features a built-in colander.

What is the patented Softbase® layer?

Softbase® is a Belgian-patented technology especially developed for cooking on induction hobs.

The soft silicone anti-slip layer sits underneath the stainless steel base, providing extra grip on the smooth surface of the hob. This reduces movement and vibration, minimizes contact noise, and the risk of spilling or scratches.

Why should Sensa only be used on induction hobs?

The patented Softbase® technology is developed exclusively for induction hobs. Do not use Sensa on gas, ceramic or electric hobs. Direct heat can damage both the Softbase® and the hob surface.

Do I need a downdraft system?

No. You do not need a downdraft extractor system built into the hob to use the Sensa collection.

Sensa also works with a traditional extractor hood above the hob. If you happen to have a downdraft system, the side opening in the lid directs the steam towards the extractor.

What is Sensa made of?

The body is made from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, of which 91% is recycled. Sensa also features our Softbase® technology and a glass lid with a built-in pouring system.

Which products and colors are available?

The Beka Sensa® collection is available in Latte, Mocha and Espresso. These colours are subtly reflected in the Softbase® silicone finish and around the rim of the lid.

As of October 2026, you’ll be able to pre-order the 16 cm saucepan and the 20 and 24 cm casseroles. They’ll be widely available as of early November.

The collection will later be expanded to include frying pans. You’ll be able to pre-order these as of December, and they’ll be widely available in early 2027.

How do I use the lid with a downdraft extractor system?

Turn the side opening of the lid towards the extractor in the hob. This directs the steam towards the downdraft system, minimizing the amount of steam escaping into the kitchen.

How do I use the built-in colander?

Turn the side opening of the lid towards the side where you wish to drain your liquid. Hold the lid firmly and carefully pour out the cooking liquid. A separate colander is not required.

Can I put the Sensa cookware in the dishwasher or oven?

Yes, both the pot and the lid are dishwasher-safe and oven-safe up to 200°C.

How do I maintain the Softbase®?

Clean the Softbase® by hand or in the dishwasher. When washing by hand, use a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid scouring pads, as these can damage the soft silicone.

Dry the base with a cloth or simply leave it to air dry. Due to the shape of the Softbase®, it may take a little longer for all the recesses to dry completely.

If, over time, a slight white film appears due to hard water, you can easily remove it with a little diluted lemon juice or vinegar.

Should I lift the pot, or can I slide it?

The Softbase® helps minimize movement and scratches, but it is still safer to lift the pot when moving it.

When does the pre-order start?

The Sensa pre-order starts on 5 October 2026.

How does a pre-order work?

Through the pre-order, you’re ordering a Sensa product before it becomes generally available. Payment is immediately processed, and your product is reserved.

When will I receive my pre-order?

The 16 cm Sensa saucepan and the 20 and 24 cm casseroles are expected to be delivered as of early November. You can pre-order the frying pans in December, and they are expected to be delivered in early 2027.

As soon as your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a dispatch confirmation by email. We’ll keep you informed in the event of any delays.

What if my order also contains products that are already in stock?

Your complete order will be shipped together as soon as the pre-order product becomes available. Products that are already in stock will therefore not be shipped separately or at an earlier date. Would you like to receive an in-stock product sooner? Please place it in a separate order.

Can I change or cancel my pre-order?

Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel your pre-order. Once the order has been processed or dispatched, it may no longer be possible to make any changes.
